I think content in all its forms has a lot of power to spread ideas, build communities, and engage people, but you have to know how to do it right. And, in today’s world, you have to keep innovating in order to keep getting it right. That’s why I’m here.

I currently put my skills to use at Heluna Health, where I am helping to build our visual and multi-media content strategy, focusing on projects that help the agency elevate its brand awareness, increase the visibility of our programs and clients/partners, and reach and engage new clients and donors/funders. I manage our social media presence and other projects to support content creation, event production, press coordination, collateral, advertising, and campaigns across channels.

Prior to joining Heluna Health, I worked at the University of Washington’s Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine where I focused primarily on developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plan that elevated the institute’s brand and broaden awareness of its programs, research, and activities in the regional market. I was also previously managing communications for a global health non-profit in Berkeley and I have with other health-focused non-profits including Sea Mar Community Health Centers, Institute for Public Strategies, San Diego State University’s School of Public Health and the San Diego Medical Society Foundation.

I hold a BA in Gerontology and Human Biology from San Diego State University and a certificate in Health Communications from Boston University.

Besides my unnatural adoration for making campaigns shine, I also have passions for food, travel, urban design, modern feminism, and women’s health.

I’m always on the lookout for freelance opportunities, other projects—or just to grab a cup of coffee with someone interesting. If you have a way you think we could work together, get in touch!

Until then, I’ll be here typing away.
